Data protection is important to us

We understand your concern about the use and disclosure of your data. We respect your right to a private sphere, and it is our wish to request as little personal information from you as possible and to manage the necessary information as securely as possible. We want to ensure that you understand what type of information we collect about you, how it is used, and what steps we take to protect your data. Below we wish to offer you a brief look at how we handle your data.

What personal data do we collect and how is it used?

Personal data refers to specific facts about personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. Personal data may make it possible for someone to identify you or may be directly assigned to you. Personal data includes, for example, your name, address, date of birth, and telephone number. The type of personal data and other information that we collect and store depends on your interaction with our website.
As a rule, you can visit our website and find out about your offers without disclosing personal data to us. In order to perform services for you, we need to collect certain personal data that you provide to us when you register or place an order. This includes your personal information (forename, surname, date of birth) and your contact information (email address, telephone number, address). Additional information, e.g. delivery address, preferred payment method, and, if applicable, your bank or credit card data, are required to process orders. We assure you that we only collect, process, and use your data for your registration, for processing your orders, and for sending our own newsletters or emails, except if the collection, processing, or use:

  • is for a purpose directly related to the purpose for which your data was originally collected; or
  • is necessary due to a legal obligation or official or court order; or
  • is necessary to substantiate or protect legal claims or defend against a law suit.

What other data is collected?

When you access [], some data is automatically transferred to our web server and analysed by us. This data includes:

  • your current IP address (internet protocol address) or other technical information – such as a referring website – and the pathway you used to visit our website;
  • date, time, and duration as well as the internet address of the website from which you were directly linked to our website;
  • the file name or terms you search for and the browser used when accessing our website;
  • the pages you visited on our website.

This data does not permit us to make a connection to an identified or identifiable person. A connection to yourself as an individual might be possible using other data provided by your access provider. We do not aim to make such connections and so do not make them. The data in question is therefore not personal data. We also use Google Analytics to collect, access and use statistics and in connection with ad placement through Google Ads. This also does not create any connection to identified or identifiable persons.

Do we use cookies?

Cookies are information that our web server transfers to your web browser. If you have not deactivated cookies in your browser, they will be saved on your computer‘s hard drive. They are used in many electronic orders over the internet to follow the processes involved in transactions. This data does not permit a connection to identified or identifiable persons to be made without further information. You can find more information on a Microsoft company web page at the address
We use this technology in order to personally accompany you through our offer and to manage your virtual shopping cart. When our web servers potentially automatically record your IP address, the collected data may contain information about your actions when navigating, searching, and making purchases on our website. If you do not agree to the use of cookies and have deactivated them in your browser, our website will only have limited availability for you.

To whom do we disclose your information?

 Your data is centrally stored and processed on secure servers of a host in Switzerland and Germany. Only specially authorised persons entrusted with the maintenance of the servers may access them. The servers are protected against unauthorised access by extensive security measures.
Your personal data may be transmitted to our suppliers in Europe in the course of order processing. Our suppliers are obligated to protect your data to the same extent as we are. We do not sell or otherwise transmit your personal data to third party providers.

Social plug-ins

Our internet site uses social plug-ins („plug-ins“) of the social network, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA („Facebook“). The plug-ins can be recognised by the Facebook logo (white „f“ on a blue square or „thumbs up“ symbol) or are labelled as „Facebook Social Plugin.“ The list and appearance of Facebook social plug-ins can be viewed here: If you access a page on our site that contains such a plug-in, your browser will create a direct connection to Facebook‘s servers. Facebook will transmit the content of the plug-in directly to your browser and incorporate it into the website. We have no influence on the extent of the data that Facebook collects using this plug-in and so notify you accordingly of our level of knowledge: by incorporating the plug-in, Facebook obtains the information that you accessed the corresponding page on our internet site. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook may link the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plug-in, for example by clicking the „like“ button or submitting a comment, your browser transmits the corresponding information directly to Facebook, where it is stored. Even if you are not a member of Facebook, there is still a possibility that Facebook will find out and store your IP address. To learn more about the purpose and scope of data collection and further processing and use of such data by Facebook, as well as your rights and possible settings for protecting your private sphere, please read Facebook‘s data protection policy: If you are a member of Facebook and do not want Facebook to collect data about you through our internet site and link it to your member data stored on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our internet site. It is also possible to block Facebook social plug-ins using add-ons for your browser, such as „Facebook Blocker.“

Upon your written request (see Contact), we will gladly inform you what personal data we have stored about you. You can also request at any time that we update, correct, or delete your data according to your specifications.

Changes to the Data Protection Policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this Data Protection Policy at any time. We will notify you of changes by displaying the date of the last update at the top of the Data Protection Policy. If we make a significant change concerning the use of information that you provide to us and this form of use is not included in the existing Policy, we will notify you of the changes by email and give you the opportunity to change your marketing preferences to the effect that you can refuse consent to the form of use in question.
